Stuck in Lodi depicts a winters day in Lodi California 1950.  Lodi has a great history and was built on family values and community.  My goal is to capture that in a series of paintings that will help us all to remember the value that family and community have in our lives. 

The Artist

Born in Monterey California.  Joe lived in Monterey, Carmel during his early years but has spent his entire life in and around Northern California.  
Joe didn't even realize he had any artistic talent until he was 14.  Entering Highschool Joe signed up for an art class and as he puts it, I just started drawing and it was good.  Joe has a natural God given talent that just keeps coming.
Joe has the ability to pick up any medium and work with it as though he has been working in it his whole life.
With no formal training Joe has mastered watercolor, oil, pencil, & bronze sculpturing. 
Most of Joe's early professional works are commissioned watercolor on paper by some of the greatest sports legends in modern times. 
Joe's most recent works are oil on canvas in a variety of subject matter.  There is so much beauty in this world that Joe decided he wanted to capture that as he see it and share it with others.
All Joe's works are reproduced in limited edition series, many of which are sold out editions and have grown in value to the high 5 figure range.
Joe is also in the developmental stages of 3 animation projects 2 shorts and 1 feature that are sure to be a great success.
Upon seing Joe's work for the first times, his good friend, smooth jazz recording artist, composer, producer, & song writer, Kim Waters asked Joe, "man, where have you been hiding"? 
The answer to that is Joe has spent much of his adult career in corporate management.  As he puts it, I taken advantage  of the God given talent I've been given.  Not anymore.  Joe is committed to aggressively pursuing his passion and talent for the rest of his life.
